The most important thing is that it’s not your fault!
Over 96% of the good honest hard working people that start a network marketing business this year will fail. They will spend more money than they make. They will max out their credit cards. They will drain their bank accounts. They will go broke attempting to build their MLM business.

Most network marketing companies design their compensation plans to reward the top distributors very heavily. I mean only a handful of people get paid great money. This can be out of thousands, even hundreds of thousands, of distributors promoting the company.
These top people are extremely talented and gifted. You know the ones I’m talking about. They are the people you see month after month in the company magazine.
Have you ever asked yourself, “Why do I always see the same faces in the company magazine month after month”?
It’s the compensation plan. It is designed to reward the few and cheat the rest.
Harsh again, right?!
It’s the truth.
Most MLM companies design their compensation plans so that it is very difficult for the average person to make much money (that way the company gets to keep more profit on each sale).
That’s why you see so many people giving up on their dream of residual income… it;s the impossible compensation plans!
So, who’s lying to you?
It can be the people at corporate headquarters that are lying to you. It can be the company owners. Also, it can be somebody in your upline - and that’s not good for YOU!
Here’s a truth test:
How many people will you need in your group to make $10,000 per month income?
Do you know?
If you don’t know, why not?
Why didn’t your sponsor or somebody in your upline tell you this?
Why is it important to know this?
It’s important to know this because with some compensation plans it will take as many as 10,000 people in your group for you to earn $10,000 per month.
In the best plans it only takes around 350 people or less.
See the difference?
I’d rather build a group of about 350 people than build a group of 5,000 people or 10,000 people. How about you?
The first time somebody explained this to me, I was shocked!
Sure, I realized that there were several types of compensation plans, but I always thought that the pay-out percentage to the field distributors was pretty much a standard percentage for all MLM companies.
How wrong was I? Wow!

Using the example of 350 to make $10,000 you will notice that the earnings per group member are approximately $28.00. This is an example of what a fair and decent compensation plan should pay you.
The big question is, are you more likely to build a group of 350 distributors, or are you more likely to build a group of 5,000 or 10,000?
My previous company was a well known and well established company with great products. But do you know how much I made after 18 months of building with 165 people in my group?
A pitiful $450 per month.
Yep… a measly $450 per month after struggling for 18 months!
I could have been making more than $4,600 per month… but I didn’t, because the company compensation plan limited my income.
Do you think I feel like I got “the shaft” from that company?
You bet I do! …..
All network marketing companies have great products. I think you will agree on this point. They need to have great products or nobody will stay for more than their first purchase.
So what you really need to understand is that you may be in love with your company’s products but your company’s compensation plan may not be “showing YOU the love”!
In fact, the issue surrounding compensation plans is just the beginning. There are four more factors that must be in place in any MLM business opportunity in order for average people like you and me to be able to become successful.

Find out how much the average pay-out is per member in your group.
Also, find out if you can walk away at any time and maintain your residual income by just maintaining your small monthly auto-ship of products.
Important stuff, right? Especially if you are involved in network marketing to make money!
